This is an amazing story.. in my interview, Paul O’Mahony, (Left Click Right Click) Entrepreneur, Author and International Speaker, tells me how the he hit rock bottom when he made huge financial losses by investing in property just before the recession hit and then later in the stock market. He then goes on to tell me how he started using social media to generate sales. He accumulated 7000 Twitter followers in just 7 days and then starting using an affiliate programme to generate revenue with his very first tweet. In four months he generated €10k and had made his first million in fourteen months. Wowzers…. amazing stuff..
Paul goes onto talk about how to use Social Media to drive sales and outlines six steps:
- Claim your real estate
- Grow your credibility by gaining followers
- Run Ads to grow your following and test your value proposition
- Focus on people – sell them a solution
- Who is in the most pain
- Give them a quick win
- Identify the people who most need your solution and are ready to purchase it and start having conversation with them.
